For our client, a famous European Retailer with strong international presence in the selling of furniture, we are looking for a Retail Expansion Manager.
The company has an ambitious plan of growth and the Retail Expansion Manager, reporting to the Country Sales Manager, will be responsible to organize the opening of new stores across Switzerland.
**Your tasks**
In this rewarding role you will be responsible for:
- Scouting and pointing out locations, including square meters and expected turnover, for new store openings (German speaking part of Switzerland
- Connect with landlords and real estate agencies
- Hire and recruit personnel for the retail stores (sales and after sales)
- Create a positive and engaging working environment
- Inspiring, leading and training the team to grow
- Develop retail sales strategy and forecasts together with the Country Sales Manager
**Your Profile**
To be successful in this position you offer:
- 5 - 8 years experience in retail in big stores
- Experience in new stores openings and the related responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills
- Initiative, as well as an analytical and structured approach
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly. mainly in the German speaking part of Switzerland
- German and English at a fluent level are mandatory; French and Italian are a plus
