In this role you will be responsible to partner with Regional/Local Marketing & Sales Managers, HR Business Partners and L&D Managers, you will lead the successful planning, localization and implementation of the Electrification Academy functional learning programs, as per strategy agreed with each Division. Key interface between global function leaders/Academy training managers (M&S, Operations, HSE, IS, HR, etc.) and local sales organization teams, you will articulate the vast ABB training catalogue to match specific country needs wherever possible, while collecting insights to influence future global people development initiatives. You will be accountable to support countries assigned to you in achieving their yearly learning KPIs.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage and drive global mandatory program adoption for all functions in the local sales units, acting as key interface between EL Academy, EL Community Leaders and Global HRBPs, and Regional/Local Marketing & Sales Managers, HRBPs and Training Managers
- Manage the annual training plan creation process for local sales units in assigned countries (about 30), suggesting most appropriate modules for each employee group to support achievement of global/regional/local business objectives.
- Build and animate a network of local trainers and drive train-the-trainers actions ensuring strong local self-sufficiency and program competence
- Drive the organization of the local face-to-face training events/seminars, liaising with local marcom teams and stakeholders
- Liaise with GBS team to manage learning administration (enrollments, reports, etc.) and learner support (technical issues, LMS navigation, etc.); Collect local training data and integrate them in core LMS for complete employee training tracking.
- Use Power BI analytics to measure impact and progress of programs, and drive real competency change in each division sales tower
- Manage localization/translation projects/budget and vendor relations
- Collect local people development expectations and liaise with the strategic planning and design colleagues in the Academy to contribute to/influence future program development
- Provide regular report updates to global, regional and local sales tower/division leaders

**Your background**:

- Fluent English, written and spoken, and excellent facilitation/presentation skills; Fluent Spanish or Chinese Mandarin is a plus
- 10 years or more experience, ideally in the Energy industry, in a L&D management and/or HR role; sales training consulting experience appreciated
- Experience of assessment and certification processes preferable
- Strong financial acumen, both for results tracking/reporting and for budget management
- Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a global matrix organization
- Ability and experience of working effectively, globally and locally, with business and HR leaders
- Ability to withstand adversity and draft creative solutions to work around obstacles coming your way (can-do attitude)
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge and understanding of the LV/MV Energy business is a plus
