Location: Europe. In this role you will be responsible to design and implement best in class global programs and solutions for Talent Management, Learning and other HR projects and initiatives for EL Smart Building business to ensure the right capabilities are available today and tomorrow, in line with the strategic objectives of the business to drive profitable growth. Reporting to the T&L Partner Lead for Smart Buildings and Smart Power, this position will engage with HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, EL Academy, EL T&L team, and the Corporate Development team to ensure alignment with ABB Group strategies, guardrails, and best practices.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of the global EL Talent Management framework in close collaboration with the division/ELSB HRBPs and T&L team, driving Succession Planning/Talent Management activities in EL Smart Building Division, suggesting process improvement, and promoting the tools used to facilitate that discussion
- Proactively identify and manage T&L needs based on business requirements in partnership with the responsible HRBP, and implement, reporting experiences and learnings to the Global Talent and Learning team.
- Deliver global and local projects within the talent and learning area (e. g. Leadership development, Change Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, and Inclusion etc.), defining the operating model for assigned talent and learning programs and delivery including make vs. buy decisions, provider management, program design, implementation, and review / evaluation.
- Ensure diversity and inclusion principles are a core principle for ELSB business, ensuring programs are supporting achievement of D&I ambition, analyzing people KPI for the Division, assessing key areas requiring actions and proposing solutions.
- Ensure that all Talent and Learning related data for ELSB (e.g., nominations, participations) is up to date in the relevant systems and platforms (HRGT, LMS, etc.). Liaise frequently with the associated systems partners (esp. GBS, IS, external providers) to collaborate on system optimizations, change requests and possible harmonization.
- Build strategic partnerships and relationships with third parties: universities (for talent supply), consultancies (for market insights), coaches etc. to complement and enable the business strategy when required.

**Your background**:

- Master’s Degree highly preferred, bachelor’s Degree required
- Professional with 4-7 years of experience in HR, either as HRBP or with focus in talent management, learning and organizational development or consulting and advising business leaders in people related topics.
- Experience with implementation of talent and learning initiatives in a global environment and working across multiple geographies and within virtual teams. Experience with assessment would be an asset.
- Have a digital mindset with proficient using Microsoft 365. Ability to design and delivering soft skills trainings, workshops, and programs facilitation. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent relationship building ability across stakeholders with a collaborative approach. Self-driven, energetic, enthusiastic, and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs. Resilience and ability to work with ambiguity and changing set of circumstances and issues.
- Fluency in English
