**Strategic Engagement Manager SBD (100%)**
The Strategic Engagement Manager will work 50% of their time, in an above country capacity under the direction of the Head of Medical Affairs for the mid-sized countries (MSC), which includes Switzerland, Turkey, Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium and Austria. The other 50% of their time will be focussed on the leadership and management of the local Swiss Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team in SBD.
The above MSC country part of the role will focus on implementing a customer experience (Cx) approach to KEE engagement across the region, working in close collaboration with the MSC staff and the engagement strategists from across the MSC region and representing the MSC region in the European engagement strategy workstreams as appropriate.
You will identify opportunities to drive innovative scientific relationships with KEEs with an omni-channel engagement approach that is aligned with the business strategy. You will also supervise and support Swiss MSLs to develop, guide and oversee their engagements with our KEEs. Your focus will be in cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in SBD of products marketed in Europe as well as Switzerland. You will report to the Head of Medical Affairs Switzerland. This role has direct leadership responsibilities for MSLs.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
KEE Engagement Strategy for MSC
- Drives and oversees annual strategic and operational planning of KEE engagement activities at MSC level to create long-standing partnerships with KEE customers
- Empowers, coaches and coordinates affiliate-level Engagement Strategists by ongoing, in-depth exchange and by distinct knowledge of KEE networks in MSC, their activities, decision-processes and structures etc
- Liaises with DSE and coordinates MSC affiliate engagement strategies so that the annual proposed activity list for DSE and MSC activities are shared with primary point of contacts to facilitate nomination of the most appropriate KEEs for stimulating the development right kinds of customer-centric activities
- Gathers and highlights best practice experience on MSC communities and KEE engagements from MSC affiliates
- Holds regular touchpoints with MSC affiliates to manage and evaluate strategic and operational opportunities for the cross-border healthcare ecosystems
- Shares experience and resources across MSC with the potential to leverage scale and roll out identified innovations to meet affiliate needs
- Proposes communication strategy across MSC to allow omni-channel delivery according to customers’ needs
- Builds test and learn culture based on quantity and quality metrics for all of data-informed decisions on KEE engagement across the MSC
- Ensures deliverables in a timely fashion, tracked and reported on status
- Actively communicates with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful progress on projects
MSL Management in Switzerland
- Is member of the Brand Team acting as a main MSL liaison point
- Drives Daichi Sankyo’s leadership in CVD through excellence in KEE engagement
- Is accountable for overall strategic and tactical Infield planning in close collaboration with MSLs:
- Coordinates and executes the KEE engagement plan
- Establishes excellence in territory management across DSCH medical affairs
- Implements the KEE engagement model in alignment with MSC and DSE, including the preparation of tailored KEE engagement journeys in an omni-channel approach
- Sets clear SMART goals with the MSLs and tracks their implementation and impact
- Coaches MSLs regularly and frequently during visits with KEEs
- Supports the Medical Advisor in creating a “library” of approved materials to be used by MSLs and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Systematically gathers and distils customer feedback into consolidated insights for sharing with Brand Team to translate into strategy
- Facilitates clinical activities and evidence generations to move the paradigm by understanding and consulting the KEE networks
- Represents Daiichi Sankyo as needed at medical meetings, conferences, advisory boards, outreach meetings at key institutions, and in interactions with key external experts
- Manges budgets and delivery timelines for designated projects and programmes ensuring compliance with all internal and external requirements, procedures and codes of practice
