REACH Business Manager (M/F)

To support our Advanced Materials division, we are looking for a REACH Business Manager within our Marketing department. Preferred location for this permanent and full-time position is our Divisional European HQ in Basel, Switzerland. Our site in Wynyard (England) or the site in Everberg (Belgium) could also be considered as a potential location for this position.
Your role will be to coordinate and follow up on global regulatory requirements of our division portfolio substances as well as as well as support the generation of underlying required information. We are looking for a self-driven and motivated business manager with strong analytical and chemistry skills. Working as part of a dynamic and well-established Technology & Innovation group, you will report directly to the Head Global Regulatory Issue Management.
As Reach Business Manager, you will:
- Prioritize Reach (EU and non-EU) substance registration (existing and future) according to legal requirements and regulatory deadlines and provide inputs for business approvals
- Define and coordinate update to content of Reach substance dossier assigned
- Coordinate timely and effective reporting and communicate any deviation to line manager
- Lead handover of administrative Reach part to Product EHS organization
- Establish and update business risk mapping analysis for entire Advanced Materials product portfolio through effective interaction with key stakeholders (PSRC, Technology, Marketing, )
- Anticipate potential business risks for our division product portfolio based on such analysis and provide regular inputs to business risk management process
- Ensure compliance to Huntsman safety and Ethics & Compliance guidelines
**Requirements**:
- University degree in chemistry or similar area
- At least 5 years of experience in Technical, Marketing or Reach roles in an international environment
- Deep know how of Reach and other global Regulatory legislations, chemistry and classification
- Strong change management experience, with the ability to work with complex data in a cross-functional organisation
- Ability to deliver clear and compelling message, synthetizing complex information in simple terms
- Change agent with the ability to communicate well at all levels in the organisation
- Fluent in English (written & verbal), other language an asset
