**The Role**
As a Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for leading our EMEA team of Project Managers and ensuring the successful completion of Unblu integration projects within our Services organisation. You will oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure the project is completed within the established scope, timeline and budget.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop the project management team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources necessary to deliver high-quality projects that meet the unique needs of Unblu customers.
Additionally, you will implement project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to improve project performance and ensure consistent delivery across our projects.
**Responsibilities**
**Line Management**
- Line and performance management for Unblu EMEA Business Project Lead team
- Training and development of the team
- Participating in recruitment activities

**Project Pre-Sales**
- Working with bid teams to scope projects and define requirements, including exclusions and assumptions
- Providing cost, delivery estimates and quotations
- Support Pre-Sales in negotiations with clients and sub-contractors

**Project Management**
- Responsible for the overall planning and implementation of Unblu implementation or upgrade projects
- Defining project scope, goals and deliverables
- Specifying project tasks and resource requirements
- Assembling and coordinating project staff
- Responsible for project budget and project resource allocation
- Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Performing quality assurance
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project to stakeholders
- Presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Performing project evaluations and assessments of results

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of previous experience in a relevant position
- Experience in managing large value projects, preferably within the FinTech industry
- Experience in managing project teams
- Good judgement while making decisions, planing, and solving problems
- Fluency in both German and English
- Proficiency in cloud-based project management and office tools
- Ability to interact with senior management and high-level contacts
- Ability to adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to meet departmental and client requirements
- Attention to detail with the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment
- Neat, organized and able to work with limited to no supervision as well as collaborating well in a team
