**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Food & Beverage department, the F&B Supervisor is responsible for carrying out all required operational tasks and duties in the outlet under the guidance of the respective managers, with the overall objective to serve food and beverage in a timely manner and delight and satisfy each and every guest. The F&B Supervisor guides the Chef de Rangs & Commis de Rangs and reports to the Outlet Manager.

**As F&B Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Leading your own team and ensuring smooth and guest-oriented workflows in the restaurant in close cooperation with all departments of the house
- Feedback and training of your team
- Professional advice and customer care for our guests
- Professional serving of food and drinks
- Excellent product and sales knowledge
- Complying with and ensuring our high standards of service
- Communicating current offers in the department and throughout the house
- Responsible for the correct accounting of your area
- Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

**As F&B Supervisor, we expect from you**:

- Vocational training in the field of restaurant or hotel management. At least 2 years of professional experience with responsibilities.
- Organisational skills, leadership and the ability to manage a team of staff from a wide range of cultural backgrounds sensitively and with discipline are the basis for this position
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - guests will approach you with both complaints and positive feedback, so you will always be open and approachable
- High quality awareness, excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
- Expressiveness, open-mindedness and team spirit
- Good IT skills, knowledge of the Infrasys cash register system and the SevenRooms booking system would be advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts
- Very good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
