About Pallon

At Pallon, we are building smart software to automatically report defects in sewer inspection videos and consult cities when to fix them. With more accurate and objective data, we help to prevent wastewater leaks, reduce CO2 emissions, and avoid urban flooding. Our mission is to make cities more sustainable and resilient.

We are looking for an experienced People Lead who will own the recruitment and HR function, working with an existing team to set our employees up for success. You will improve and set up recruitment processes from scratch, and implement policies and guidelines to set the foundation for our growing team.

You will collaborate closely with different functions of the business (Sales, Success, Business Operations).

Your role

We're a fast growing company and the problems you will face are often challenging and diverse. Some of the tasks you'll be working on are:

- Owning the recruitment process and implementing best practices
- Improving existing processes, identifying gaps and implementing new processes around compensation, performance reviews, engagement, retention and development
- Forecasting and identifying hiring needs and setting targets to meet them
- Making data-driven hiring decisions to increase pipeline efficiency
- Leading a small HR team and supporting them with recruitment and people ops tasks

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience in a fast pace recruitment role
- Extensive knowledge of recruitment best practices and experience setting up processes from scratch
- Ability to strategise and plan for varying hiring needs
- Experience leveraging data analytics to ensure data driven recruitment processes
- Experience leading and managing a compact Human Resources team, guiding them towards achieving recruitment goals
- Comfortable and proficient in making autonomous decisions, thriving in environments with mínimal structured guidance
- Effective and clear communication skills
