**The Opportunity**

The department is responsible to deliver and operate the acquiring data platforms. It includes the development, the maintenance and the operation of the existing products and the implementation of the strategy for the services in scope, with the main focus of moving into the cloud.

The department is part of commercial acquiring in merchant services.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Professional, strategic, and administrative management of the Data Management department with over 30 employees. Stabilization of the rapidly growed team, including direct leadership of one sub-team
- Leading the ongoing migration of the Data Management Platform to the cloud. You and your team will play a central role in this transformation, significantly influencing both the technology/migration and team development
- Development, implementation, and monitoring of a modern data management platform with expansion capabilities for Big Data and AI
- Maintenance and optimization of the data platform and reporting systems.
- Productive support with the team (24/7)
- Optimization and automation of processes and data flows

**Who Are We Looking For**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, information management, or information technology
- Practical experience with data management, dashboard, and reporting tools
- Deep and comprehensive knowledge of data management functions and tools: metadata, standardization/validation services, data quality, reference and master data management
- Good knowledge in the field of cloud computing, preferably with GCP, BigQuery, and DBT
- At least 5-10 years of experience in a technology-focused or similar leadership position
- Leadership personality with the ability to lead and motivate global cross-functional teams and drive change
- Fluent in German and English
