Safety and Incident Response Trainee

SAFETY AND INCIDENT RESPONSE INTERN- Job type: Full-time, Temporary- Job overview:

- The Safety and Incident Response team is looking for individuals who exhibit strong empathy, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced working environment. These individuals will use their customer service and strong communication skills to aid in streamlining communication and operational incident response case management. This is a six-month internship starting February 1st 2026.- An intern in this position will work closely with the Safety and Incident Response team to help communicate with Tour Directors when operational incidents occur on tour. Your main role will be to assist with case management to support the Operation team’s needs for the different tour products EF produces for American and Canadian travelers. You will get firsthand exposure to the Safety-First Program for EF’s tours products and a holistic view of how the business operates.- Key responsibilities:
Answer all calls that come into the Operations Emergency line, open operational cases and assign them to the correct specialist by productLiaise with teammates across departments to ensure consistency of cases and case management proceduresProvide on-tour support and assist with the operational tasks required to produce a tourCollaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Procurement, Invoicing, and the Tour Director Department to provide a beautiful customer experienceAssist the Safety and Incident Response team with administrative tasks as needed- Skills & Experience:
Complete fluency in English, confident and clear communication. Additional languages are a plus.Excellent communication and organizational skillsGreat attention to detailStrong service mindset and listening skillsGreat team playerPositive attitude and empathy for othersGood judgement - ability to recognize when an issue should be escalatedCalm under pressureMust hold a Swiss passport or have the legal right to live and work in SwitzerlandWhy you will love working with us-
