Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

**Associate Director, Global Publications Lead**
As Associate Director, Global Publications, you would be responsible for strategic medical publications planning and tactical execution for designated oncology disease asset(s). You will take over the EMEA function and drive development of forward-looking plans for timely, data
- and education-driven disseminations, defining unmet disease state needs. To achieve this, you will work closely with various members of the organization (Clinical, Preclinical, Physics, HEOR, R&D, Global and Regional Medical Affairs Teams, and field representatives) as well as external agencies & partners.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage annual business and Global Strategic Publication Planning (includes regional) processes for designated oncology disease asset(s) to ensure target audience education
- Ensure timely planning and conduct of varied strategic initiatives (ie, Gap Analysis, publication advisory committees), to inform plans
- Drive timely execution and updates of annual global tactical publication plan(s) with agency partner(s) and publications manager
- Ensure alignment with relevant stakeholders, including coordinating efforts with field liaisons and business partners
- Lead internal calls for concept alignment and author engagement strategy to ensure efficient conduct of author kick-off calls for content direction and targeting
- Manage and train vendor(s), building strong partnerships
- Ensure, promote, and update compliance efforts with current standards of good publication practices
- Collaborate to ensure overarching strategic alignment with Medical/Scientific Platforms, needs assessments, and a strong asset strategy
- Spearhead disease state work-streams to continually enhance processes and innovative initiatives
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
**Your profile**:
- Science degree (MD, PhD) with experience in publications or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; research or other relevant experiences preferred
- 5+ years of publications experience in pharmaceutical or device industry required
- Oncology experience preferred;
- Good project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of current legal, regulatory, and best practices environment, with corresponding GPP guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to audiences of varied backgrounds
- A strategic, passionate, self-starter who works well in large and small teams as well as remotely with limited or no supervision
