Head of Strategic Planning

**About** the role**:Role is required to develop, lead and improve GMS long range planning process; develop, maintain, and improve network guiding principles; to ensure an effective interface to commercial (PVPS, Regions, etc) is maintained to provide necessary long range view of the evolution of demand for all global/complex products; to ensure effective interface is maintained with Pharmaceutical Sciences for long range product pipeline planning; and to ensure effective interface to commercial regions for purposes of market access planning is maintained.
**How you will contribute**:
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the GMS long range planning process, be a strong partner and support to the Finance group for MRP and LRF.
- Be a strong partner to Commercial (PVPS, Regions, etc). Ensure on-going and meaningful interaction between GMS and Commercial (PVPS, Regions, etc) to ensure effective alignment of long term intents.
- Partner with Finance to ensure effectively projection and modeling of evolution of cost of goods for product portfolio.
- Partner closely with Business Excellence Network in developing, maintaining, improving and executing the long range planning process.
- Develop and maintain network guiding principles that drive make vs buy decisions, dictate how risk is managed, stratify the product portfolio so tailored decisions can be taken and overall drive the configuration of the GMS Supply Network.
- As needed, lead the execution of Network Studies to determine how best to configure the GMS supply network in support of the business goals.
- Support Commercial (Regions or PVPS as appropriate) in developing market access and partnership strategies to enable the long term growth of the business across the commercial product portfolio.
- Lead Tech Ops work to build supply side business case analysis in support of ensuring the full spectrum of considerations for localization are captured and detailed.
- Lead the development of execution strategies, including funding, timing and staffing for localization concerns.
- Create the localization playbook or standard process by which market access business cases are performed in order to standardize, streamline, and increase effectiveness/efficiency of the above.
- Secure Tech Ops approval for business cases in a manner supportive of the business needs.
- Ensure the full landscape of PPP’s/Market Access Localizations are captured prospectively and reflected in the GMS long range plans (capital, resource, product, etc).
- Ensure effective transition of market access business cases to operational groups for delivery

Role is required to produce a framework and a business plan which will have substantial impact on the design and performance of the GMS supply network and by extension the organization.
