Chief of Staff for The Head of Gpsc

- Acts as a strategic partner and management extension to the Head of GPSC by maintaining GPSC-aligned perspective on cross-TA portfolio strategy, acting as GPSC interlock to S&G, ensures strategic alignment across the GPSC and CE&E organization and drives the overall GPSC strategy agenda. Provides thought leadership for initiatives of strategic importance.
- Major Accountabilities:
- Helps maintain congruence between S&G portfolio strategy and GPSC product strategy fostering cross-TA alignment
- Serves as thought partner to GPSC and maintains GSPC-aligned perspective on cross-TA strategy interfacing with GDD, NIBR and S&G organizations
- Acts as a management extension to the head of GPSC - participating in various governance forums to help optimize orchestration and integration.
- Maintains an oversight of GPSC programmed portfolio in close collaboration with IMI Transformation Office, ensuring overall design integrity of the GPSC operating model as it evolves
- Leads the GPSC governance operations including overseeing preparation for key governance and leadership forums, consolidation of management reports
- Manages business planning processes and facilitates overall workforce planning for GPSC (and link to annual planning/budgeting processes) - working with Finance
- Undertakes aggregated review of operational performance of GPSC, identifying and managing implications & issues and risks for GPSC and mitigation - acting as first point of escalation for issues/risks from TAs, IBBI and MAP leadership

**Minimum requirements**
- Deep understanding of Pharma industry and proven credentials in one of the GPSC focus areas
- Rigorous strategy-orientation with deep understanding of organizational change, programme management, leadership communications, facilitation and budgeting
- Demonstrated ability to establish and achieve strategic goals, highly effective communicator
- Strong attention to detail with excellent consulting and relationship building skills and the ability to influence outcomes
- 10+ years of work experience at a top strategy consulting firm / in a Pharma strategy division
