- As Director Continuous Improvement Corporate Finance, you will lead multipurpose development teams through coaching, support and project management to support the company’s lean transformation. In this role, you will identify areas of improvement and work with department leaders throughout Sonova to address improvement potentials by using tools that include Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Daily Management, Standard Work, Pull Systems, and Lean Six Sigma.**Your tasks**
- Responsible for the deployment of a sustainable SonovaX standard toolkit (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Daily Management, Standard Work, Pull Systems, and Lean Six Sigma)
- Partner with the Director Group Finance Transformation & Integration to support a future state global vision of Finance processes
- Help to establish an organizational culture of Continuous Improvement by acting as a coach and mentor to all levels of the Finance organization
- Through the use of a sustainable SonovaX toolkit, identify processes and eliminate 8 lvl waste within the organization to achieve significant gains
- Continually question standard thinking by challenging current processes and procedures in the spirit of Continuous Improvement
- Act as a change agent within the organization by identifying bottlenecks and constraints within the organization and helping to eliminate barriers to change
- Work with department leaders to create a project team to realize efficiency and productivity gains
- Provide leadership and coaching to project teams to ensure success
- Ensure all proposed improvements are consistent with regulatory, quality, and corporate compliance requirements
- Refine current training materials and create new standards and procedures
- Communicate process improvements with steering committee updates to senior management
**Your profile**
- University degree in Finance, Business Management or any other relevant field of study as well as Lean certification from a respected organization
- 7+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Skilled in influencing others to create impact across all levels of the organization and to motivate others
- Highly energetic personality with the ability to work without supervision
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work in a team as well as the ability to work across multiple groups and functions and gain consensus as required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Fluent English skills both written and spoken
- Excellent MS-Office skills
- Willingness to travel as needed (approx. 25 - 40%)
