Purpose of the role:

- The Director Cloud Strategy/Transformation is responsible for driving the growth of Capgemini Invent’s Cloud Acceleration offerings in Switzerland
- S/he will actively engage with client leadership (primarily digital technology leaders) as well as collaborate closely with our industry and capability leads, to develop and grow client relationships, deliver proposals/pitches and support other commercial activities
- S/he shall bring and further develop an image of a cloud transformation expert through social media and representation of Capgemini Invent at a variety of other forums (e.g. in-person/virtual events, recruitment fairs).
- A passionate visionary and technologist with proven capability to architect complex cloud solutions, as well as the ability to coach and advise business and IT teams with regards to technical and organizational challenges of cloud transformations
- Deep desire, drive, and capacity to transform businesses and enable them to achieve the future they want
- Profound understanding of private, public, and hybrid cloud architecture, main building blocks, workload types, migration patterns, and tools
- Strong soft skills to engage with and influence a large variety of internal and external stakeholders as well leadership skills to inspire and deliver change
- Ability to manage teams and advise clients from strategic to operational levels, with the capacity to paint a big picture as well as define a realizable roadmap to achieve it
- Understanding and ability to simplify complexity into a compelling form for the C-suite to drive decision-making
- Capability to address risk and challenges through concrete action plans through effectively working with the clients and our teams
- Curiosity and life-long learning mindset
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and in either French or German is mandatory (both written and verbal)

Qualifications, experience and other:

- A university degree (Masters/Ph.D.) and 10+years of pertinent consulting and/or industry experience, with proven ability to build relationships with business and technology leaders
- 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing cloud strategies and solutions (IaaS/PaaS) in mid
- or large-size organizations (through primary hyper-scalers AWS, Azure, Google)
- Comfortable in leading client engagement activities within a consulting organization
- Ideally recognized as a thought leader within cloud strategy/transformation on the Swiss market
- Reasonable travel flexibility required, while also harvesting benefits of remote work
- Public cloud certification(s) (AWS, Azure, Google) are highly advantageous
