Design and Engineering Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Translating market requirements into design and creating a unique selling proposition for the new product.
- Drive design for efficient sourcing, manufacturing, and assembly.
- Lead cost value analysis with internal and external stakeholders and define appropriate measures to find the best trade-off.
- Create and review design concepts and release final designs.
- Appropriate technical risk managing process and DFMEA.
- Take product responsibility.
- Actively share and transfer learnings with the existing organizations in Accelleron.
Your background
- Practical experience in the design of turbochargers (minimum 7 years).
- M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Deep technical understanding.
- Experience in leading teams without disciplinary reports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, and the ability to cooperate with different stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, passion for driving things forward, and the ability to deal with uncertainty.
- CAD basic knowledge (Catia is an asset).
- Fluency in English, and German is an asset.
