This role will provide leadership for environmental programs and related technical services that support the company’s Safety and Sustainability strategy and achievement of long-term goals.

The role will work cross-functionally with Operations, EHS Business Partners, SGIE, Global Sustainability, and sites in the establishment of sustainable environmental programs and processes, supporting operational execution with Company-wide environmental programs and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead development and continual improvement of core environmental programs, standards, and tools (air, waste, water, and wastewater).
- Provide technical support for complex environmental issues, regulatory dealings, environmental permitting, and incident response.
- Coordinate global waste management program (single use technology, Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facilities (TSDF) review/inspections, recycling/reduction of waste)
- Collaborate with Global Sustainability and other key stakeholders on environmental strategy and facilitate development of division and site roadmaps and targets that support achievement of company environmental goals.
- Drive environmental sustainability improvements within Divisions to ensure improvement versus targets and demonstrate the relationship and value of sustainability performance to business results (i.e energy, CO2, water and waste).
- Lead EHS due diligence and coordinate with various groups on M&A, divestitures, and lease agreements to identify liabilities, costs and EHS impact to the business.

Key requirements:

- Bachelors/ Masters degree in Engineering, Sciences, or similar
- Highly Experienced of working in the pharmaceutical industry
- Highly Experienced of working within Environmental, Health and Safety, Business Continuity and Physical Security
- Relevant knowledge of global safety, environmental, and health regulations
