**OBJECTIVES**:

- The Global Brand Lead executes programs for the portfolio of First Liter products globally that meet our MRP goals.
- Liaises with Regions and LOC teams to ensure optimal, tailored execution of strategies and programs.
- Acts as a point of contact with external supplier agencies Serves as a brand champion enhancing the integrity and consistency of the First Liter products across the globe

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Support the GCFLL in the development and implementation of strategic brand plans and the delivery of aligned core global programs**:

- Support the creation and execution of global marketing programs
- Create materials and tool kits aligned to programs, pro-actively seeking cross-functional, regional and key LOC input
- Interpret and leverage market research in the creation of programs and materials
- Help ensure successful communication, dissemination and implementation of programs
- Influence various functions without authority to ensure alignment on global and LOC activities

**Liaise with Regional/LOC teams to ensure optimal tailored execution of strategies and programs**:

- Act as “champion” for marketing campaigns to ensure Regional/LOC input, buy-in, support and execution in a timely fashion
- Ensure 360-degree feedback loop to continually inform global program relevance, effectiveness and simplicity for widespread successful implementation

**Work with cross functional teams to review current insights, messages, materials to ensure they evolve effectively and with the latest medical/scientific developments**:

- Research and anticipate external factors - remain up-to-date on environmental issues
- Monitor effectiveness of programs against agreed objectives
- Work cross functionally with various disciplines (medical, regulatory, legal, etc.) to develop pieces that were committed to in the planning process

**Act as point of contact with external supplier agencies**:

- Support the creation of briefing documents for agencies
- Monitor external supplier agencies and act as point of contact with external supplier agencies ensuring timely delivery of programs and materials
- Ensure budgetary finance systems are up to date and monitor expenditure of promotional budgets to remain within agreed spending levels
- Utilize the content management system and approval process (and any other processes as appropriate) to ensure adherence to relevant Takeda approval processes, Guidelines and SOPs for all promotional programs and materials

**DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS**

**Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise**
- Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the prescription drug distribution process (e.g. medical referrals, managed care systems, etc.)
- An in-depth understanding of the disease state, treatment paradigms and future trends
- Comprehensive understanding of the medical /therapeutic usage of the products
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical marketing methods, tools and concepts. (e.g. market research, advertising, public relations, media placement, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of Takeda's operating structure and methods including a thorough knowledge of the foreign-owned parent company

**Leadership**
- Established and respected manager with a track record of influencing without authority to ensure alignment
- Experience leading through change and managing ambiguity, working in an area without strong boundaries.Exceptional skills in anticipating and proactively managing conflict and uncertainty

**Decision-making and Autonomy**
- Ability to leverage knowledge of marketplace and economic forces to translate long-term strategy into clear short-term plans and goals with a strong focus on execution, accountability and acting with integrity

- Collaborates frequently with internal stakeholders in PDT BU, the Regions and the LOCs

- Demonstrated ability to build and improve internal systems and processes that are aligned to organizational priorities
- Further innovation required to drive First Liter product sales

- Works on abstract problems across franchise-related areas of the business
- Translation of multiple demands across several products and geographies into comprehensive plans that will satisfy Takeda PDT BU’s strategic objectives
- Aligns on direction and escalates and resolves issues on franchise related topics with cross-functional partners

**EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS**:

- Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Business or Life Science
- Local/Regional/Global product marketing experience (minimum 7-10 years) in pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a high specialty/scientific environment
