Administrative headaches for HR managers, payroll managers, employees, doctors and claims managers, were the norm. Recognising the need for change, grape aims to revolutionize the traditional employee insurance model.
**Your role**:
We are looking for a strategic and creative Brand & Communications Manager to join as the first hire in our marketing team. This role requires a blend of creativity and strategic thinking, as you will be responsible for shaping and communicating our brand’s story, values, and products to the market. You will drive close cross-functional collaboration with our distribution, product, health and people teams. You will lead our communication strategies across various channels and play a key role in enhancing brand awareness.
**What you will do**:
- You will lead the strategic direction of brand campaigns, to ensure a cohesive and effective brand message.
- Develop and execute innovative brand management and communication strategies.
- You will help develop our brand strategy, and manage our brand identity, proactively identifying what actions need to be taken to steer our brand image.
- Monitor market trends and oversee marketing research to keep on top of changes in the competitive environment.
- Handle the brand’s digital presence, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong social media presence.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, marketing materials, and other brand-related projects.
- Prepare and manage marketing & communications related budgets.
- Organize and oversee events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Brand Manager, preferably in the insurtech/fintech space.
- Proven experience as Brand Manager of an established Insurance.
- Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems are a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
- Fluency in English and German
