Minimum qualifications:

- Experience working with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams in developer infrastructure or related technical fields.
- Experience in people management, leading projects, and managing a direct team.
- Experience managing technical projects across multiple industries and/or geographical areas.

Preferred qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in security and/or privacy team on data protection, user trust, and risk analysis.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

We work with our development partners in the Privacy and Policy Infrastructure organization to engineer robust, reliable, and easy to maintain systems, helping developers to keep user data safe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead coordination efforts between Engineering teams and define, manage and lead complex programs by setting clear expectations, tracking, prioritizing, and measuring project success. Plan requirements with internal customers and infrastructure partners and drive programs through the entire program lifecycle, while communicating with stakeholders.
- Gather and provide the right metadata for understanding the data, the restrictions, and how the information can be made available to policymakers and enforcement engines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide technical direction, and influence processes, policies, and technical design. Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and externally (customers, partners, etc.), identify and manage risks, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Develop roadmaps and implementation plans to drive execution excellence across multiple organizations. Drive establishing scalable program governance and best practices.
