**PhD position in Artificial Photosynthesis at University of Basel / SNI**

**Your position**
- Conduct experimental research on artificial photosynthesis in nanoconfinement.
- Utilize scattering, spectroscopy, microscopy, and other analytical techniques to investigate photochemical and photophysical processes.
- Collaborate with researchers at the University of Basel and PSI, contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish results in high-impact scientific journals.

**Your profile**
- A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
- An excellent track record in both academic study and research projects.
- Strong background in physical chemistry, preferable also in photochemistry, biophysics and materials characterization.
- Experience with CO2 fixation and nanoconfinement is an advantage.
- Proficiency in advanced analytical methods such as spectroscopy, scattering, and microscopy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, strong motivation, self-management and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
