**The positions**

PhD position:

- You will conduct research towards a doctoral degree and assist and participate in research, teaching and administrative tasks.
- The position is funded for 4 years with an initial contract for 1 year. At the end of the first year, an assessment based on performance and a detailed research proposal is made. In case of a positive assessment, the contract is extended.

PostDoc position:

- The position is initially issued for two years, after which a performance review will decide on a further extension.

**Your profile**

PhD position:

- You hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have completed some courses in public, environmental and/or transport economics.
- You have a strong interest in empirical research and data analysis.
- You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is not a formal requirement but an asset.

PostDoc position:

- You hold a PhD in Economics or a related field.
- You have a strong background in public, environmental or transport economics and a solid understanding of econometrics.
- Experience in designing and running field experiments is an asset but not a formal requirement
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
