**PhD Position in Quantum Sensing at Milli-Kelvin Temperatures**

**Exploring Nanoscale Magnetism with Single Spins in Diamond**

**Your position**

As a PhD student in this project, you will:

- Conduct quantum sensing experiments at cryogenic temperatures
- Investigate the photophysics and spin dynamics of NV and SiV centers in diamond
- Study nanoscale magnetism in emerging quantum materials (e.g. van der Waals magnets, antiferromagnets)
- Collaborate with national and international partners
- Present your research at conferences and publish in high-impact journals

**Your profile**
- Required:_
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a related discipline
- Strong interest in experimental quantum science and nanotechnology
- Keen to gain hands-on experience in laboratory research
- Analytical thinking, motivation, and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Desirable:_
- Experience with optics, cryogenics, or scanning probe techniques
- Knowledge of nanofabrication or cleanroom methods
- Programming skills for data acquisition and analysis
