**What you'll do**

As a Solution Architect with Focus on Avaloq Core Banking integration, your role is to work within the Digital Delivery Team and to design software and interfaces to ensure rapid software development, re-usability of components and low operating costs. With this, you are contributing to a smooth online banking operation (Run-the-Bank) and a fast implementation of new online banking features (Change-the-Bank).

You’ll also be:

- Develop detailed solution designs within the solution architecture team, reflecting new business requirements and existing technology landscape
- Challenge business and technical requirements and support design of effective solutions
- Collaboration with business analysts and change managers
- Owner of/Responsible for the Avaloq Compo for API (Audit)
- Incident and problem analysis and coordination of bug-fixes
- Support technical project management, change management, incident resolution
- Implementation of update scripts to resolve data issues
- Coordinating and working with multiple development teams both onsite and near-shore
- Run-the-Bank activities (maintenance, bug-fixing)
- Create MI Reports and relevant Avaloq scripts for relevant business stakeholder

**The skills you'll need**

We’re looking for a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have proven technical background and an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science. Additionally, you’ll provide a vast know-how in Avaloq including Avaloq Core and Front Platform customization (Avaloq certified) as well as with AMI/EMI and AMI Webservices. You’ll demonstrate experience in designing and developing backend services/web services as well as with Container Platform (Openshift) environments.

You’ll also Need:

- DevOps knowledge including Docker, GitLab, Jenkins
- Oracle database know-how (SQL / ERM / Data modelling)
- Project management skills
- Acquaintance with Windows and Unix environments
- Proven knowledge of Java and web technologies (e.g. Java 8/11, REST, Swagger/RAML, XML, JSON) and web security (e.g. identity management, OAuth 2.0).
- Understanding of API design tool (e.g. Swagger tools) and API Management platforms
- English written and spoken on negotiation level, German is an asset
- Flexibility in working times (on call for system upgrades on weekends)
