**Position**:
Joining a busy, team that is growing and expanding, this Accountant role can be full-time or part-time. You should be able to assume accounting responsibility for Trust and Corporate structure and take on a full caseload.

Daily tasks could typically include:

- Management of a portfolio of Trust and Company entities from an Accounting stand point
- Monthly closing as well as the preparation of quarterly Swiss VAT
- Attendance to annual financial audit and provision of finance related documents for annual AML audit
- Record Trust and Companies journal entries into accounting software
- Preparation of financial statements to trial balance on yearly basis
- Keep a track of all the investments, savings, debts, etc., and make sure that all the accounts reconcile
- Liaise with auditors in order to complete audit process where necessary

**Profile**:

- A minimum of 6 years+ relevant accounting experience within another trust or fiduciary company
- Qualified or ongoing accounting qualification a must, with strong knowledge of trust accounting
- Knowledge of international and local statutory requirements and tax consequences
- Strong in accounting standards and principles: Swiss GAAP, RPC as well as IAS, IFRS or US GAAP would be an advantage
- A team player with a positive working attitude and ‘hands-on’ mentality
- Analytical skills, ability to work independently, to establish priorities and keep deadlines
- Good English language skills are essential (both oral and written)
- Already resident in the Geneva area; frontalier OK
- Happy in a full-time or part-time role and to be office-based (with the occasional day from home)
