We are currently expanding our growing team Halfway between a senior accountant and a VAT accountant. This position is suited to an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in accounting or/and indirect tax.

**1.Job Purpose**

**2.Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, and other transactions.
- Performing control checks day to activity & remediation of errors for record of invoices
- Recording all receipts and payments, inputting into accounting software
- Weekly prepare trade creditor/debtor statement for respectively payment and follow-up of overdue
- Weekly ,monthly reconciling of banks, debtors, and creditors and other balance accounts.
- Participate in all aspects of the monthly financial close process
- Preparation of financial information for management specially cash flow.
- Performing control checks during the close & remediation of errors
- To support the development & implementation of initiatives that will enhance the overall efficient operation of the finance function
- Support month-end and year-end process
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of EU VAT
- Fill-in VAT returns across multiple member states
- Interpret EU legislation.
- Liaise with the Financial Manager to improve financial procedures and strengthen internal controls
- Second liaison with Auditors during final audits

**3.Experience**
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Minimum of 2/3 years prior experience in bookkeeping within an Accounting Practice/Stand
- alone accounts role within services industry or fiduciary

- Ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization
- Well organized with excellent written and oral communication skills
