**Responsibilities**:

The Head of Group Investigations will oversee and/or manage the conduct of investigations carried out by Group Investigations case managers or other general managers in the group. The role is the functional head for internal investigations and takes responsibility for maintaining and updating the policy and procedural landscape for investigations, working under the delegation of the Group General Counsel and oversight of the Ethics, Integrity and Risk committee (EIRC).
- Raise, train and maintain the day to day operations of the Group Investigations department, its resources, systems and personnel (3 team members), including engagement of external counsel and specialists
- Manage the flow of investigations under management from intake to recording of remediation actions
- Oversee the conduct and/or management of simultaneous investigations across multiple jurisdictions
- Communicate and coordinate with senior management to agree remediation actions in response to investigation findings
- Manage the investigation documentation, trainings and communication program, including formal briefings, workshops and written materials

Education/Qualifications:

- Legal degree preferred; financial and auditor qualifications
- Certified Fraud Examiner highly desirable

**Experience**:

- 15+ years of experience in legal, compliance or investigations
- Strong compliance background would be an advantage
- Experience managing local and distributed teams, working with both direct reports and non-direct reports as well as external service providers (legal counsels)
- Experience with digital forensic methodology and e-Discovery data review (highly desirable)
- Conducting fact-finding investigations to help assess allegations of possible impropriety and responding to management

Knowledge & Skills:
**Technical / functional skills**:

- Sound understanding of business processes and internal controls to mitigate risk, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Anti Money Laundering controls and laws, Fraud and Financial Crime
- Knowledge of investigatory techniques, and the governance of investigations
- Communicating and advising at the senior executive and board level
- Formulation, articulation and documentation of policy and procedure
