**Technical Project Lead - Electrical Engineering & M&E Infrastructure**

Location: Zürich

Traveling: Basel, Bern, Valais & French-speaking Switzerland

Contract Type: Try & Hire - 3-month contract leading to permanent employment

Are you ready to take the lead on critical infrastructure projects for one of Switzerland’s most innovative telecom companies? We are seeking a **Technical Project Lead (m/w/d)** with solid electrical engineering expertise and proven project management experience to join our client’s dynamic team.

You will have technical responsibility for the mechanical and electrical (M&E) infrastructure across multiple network locations. This includes:

- Energy supply systems
- Air conditioning and cooling solutions
- Security and fire protection systems
- Building management systems

Your mission: optimize, modernize, and integrate new technologies to ensure reliability, efficiency, and future readiness.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Plan and coordinate M&E infrastructure projects (new builds, conversions, demolitions)
- Manage capacity planning for infrastructure systems
- Oversee external specialists: request and review offers, manage orders, verify invoices
- Develop and implement optimization measures to improve stability, performance, and reduce operating costs
- Support lifecycle planning and budgeting for infrastructure systems
- Provide technical support to internal teams

**What You Bring**

- Basic training in electrical engineering
- Advanced technical education (FH, HF or equivalent) - e.g., Electrical Project Manager, Building Automation Project Manager
- Professional experience in ICT infrastructure
- Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project)
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
- Willingness to travel (60-80% field service)
- Languages: German, French, English (fluent)
