Our esteemed client in Zurich is seeking an Operational Buyer with a passion for electronics and a background in electrical engineering or automation. As the Operational Buyer for Electronics Component, you will take the lead in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of electronics components. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a steady rhythm of supply for our client's high-tech products, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Work location: Zurich

Home office possibilities: max. 1 day per week

Workload for this position (work pensum): 80%

Qualifications and Skills:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Work experience in procurement, particularly within the electronics industry.
- A virtuoso in negotiation, able to compose deals that resonate with value and savings.
- Understanding of **electronics components**, market dynamics, and industry regulations.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, ensuring every note of the procurement process is flawlessly executed.
- Strong communication skills, allowing you to conduct a smooth symphony of collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
- Fluent in English

- Technical Overture: Collaborate with the engineering team to understand the technical nuances, ensuring each component plays its designated role flawlessly.
- Logistics Ballet: Perform a logistics ballet, coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure a graceful flow from reception to deployment.
