Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.
To support our team in Krakow, Poland we are looking for a:
**Associate HR Business Partner EMEA**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and solution driven individual who will be a pioneer in supporting and growing our brand new global financial services organization, Novocure Poland. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and consulting leaders and employees located in Poland and other EMEA countries. You will be able to work both hands-on and strategically depending on the needs of the market. You will provide support for diverse HR management activities including but not limited to, setting the strategic people agenda for the areas of responsibility, recruitment, training and development, retention, compensation in EMEA or Global HR projects. This is a unique opportunity for you to grow and develop further as a HR Professional.
**Your responsibilities**:
HR Consulting:
- Act as a single point of contact for all HR related matters in Poland and other assigned countries.
- Consult and coach Line Managers with regards to employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, reward and recognition, change management and disciplinary issues
- Provide guidance on legal, compliance, compensation and benefits matters
- Provide Human Resources and People support in collaboration with the Site Lead Poland and aligned with corporate HR
- Manage various external vendors such as temporary agencies, recruitment companies; work with procurement and C&B Global in case of vendor selection and changes of the benefit program/pension fund
Workforce Planning / Talent Acquisition:
- Managing recruiting within Poland and other EMEA countries in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team
- Responsible for setting up and facilitating the Talent discussions and process within Poland and other responsible countries including discussions and training of Line Managers
- Collaborate with the Line Managers to start the recruitment process, defining compensation ranges and other requirements
HR Administration & Payroll
- Responsible for HR Administration for employees based in Poland and other responsible countries (contracts, reference letters etc.)
- Monthly final payroll check (4-eyes principle) for responsible countries, responsibility for payroll release from HR side
- Ensure 100% data compliance in our HR HUB including handling of audits related to it (e.g. SOX)
Processes / tools:
- Facilitate the yearly performance management process including calibration sessions and training of the Line Manager and employees
- Take lead on the bonus, merit and promotion process and support the Line Managers on the Equity award allocation processes
HR projects / Change Management:
- Define, develop and implement HR processes
- Support various HR projects in agreement with the EMEA HR Leadership Team, Senior Manager HR EMEA, Country/Site Manager and Leadership Team
- Support Global and EMEA initiatives and implement them in Poland and the other responsible countries
- Support the expansion within EMEA by setting up all HR related processes (policies, contracts, payroll provider, insurance broker etc.) and support building up the country
- Negotiate with works council/social partners e.g. in case of re-organizations, changes of policies etc.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in either HR Management or Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR
- Broad experience as a human resources generalist including talent management, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, and management development
- Experience with On
- and Off-boarding processes and general HR administration
- International experience especially in EMEA in changing and fast-growing companies is preferred
- High self-motivation and solution and service oriented
- Experience in a life science environment, biotech, pharma is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and English, German or French is a plus
