Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. The organisation focusses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.

We are currently looking for a:
**Scientific Associate**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Independently perform in vitro experiments under the leadership of the assigned lab head(s); interpret and report data of the respective experiments;
- Closely work with multiple teams across expertise groups within Oncology (Drug Discovery Biology, Cellular Assays, Enzymology and Biochemistry, Pharmacology);
- Efficiently operate in a functional laboratory, including quick adaptation to new technical equipment, instrument software and tools.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Qualification as Lab Technician or first degree (MSc, BSc) in cellular biology, molecular biology or another relevant discipline;
- Significant practical work experience in cellular and/or molecular biology research;
- Fluency in English (oral/written);
- Basic knowledge of cancer signaling/biology;
- Used to successfully work within a high productivity and quality environment;
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate as self-motivated team player in an interdisciplinary environment;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
