Head of Supply Chain Transformation

The Head of Supply Chain Transformation will lead a business transformation program for all Lonza Divisions towards and end-to-end integrated supply chain. This intends to simplify the customer journey and drive a wide range of relevant benefits for Lonza such as customer loyalty with impact on revenues and profits, working capital improvements, organizational efficiencies, supply chain resilience, up to improved staff competency and motivation. The role designs and deploys global processes for demand and supply planning of all products and services, and scheduling systems to maximize effectiveness. The Head of Supply Chain Transformation drives collaboration within the global networks of the Divisions of Site Supply Chain Heads, Demand, Planners and Demand Managers, ensuring superior supply chain performance, driving fact-based, pro-active, and anticipative performance orientation.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, manage, communicate and plan effectively to ensure alignment with and clear understanding of strategic and supply operational goals for all Technology Platforms.
- Drives the implementation of the Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP) process for demand and supply, and scheduling processes for all Divisions.
- Design target operating model for each business; support setting up process-driven organizations with roles descriptions and RACIs in all Divisions and Sites to sustainably land the business transformation
- Design and deploy new IT systems (IBP, OMP, Connector) across all divisional networks
- Manage the transformation program using formal project management methodologies maintaining an accurate project plan and actively communicate with the Governance team and relevant stakeholders to ensure project is supported and delivered on time as per EC approval
- Manage a team global process owner, organization and systems implementation

**Key requirements**:

- University degree Economics, Business Administration or similar
- Additional MBA preferred
- Highly Experienced years in various SC functions related to operations management, production or technology management
- Organizational transformation, Program Management, Multi
- project management
- Thorough understanding of business processes of different businesses in the pharmaceutical industry, desirable in the CDMO environment, like Supply Chain/Materials Management/Logistics,
- Strong knowledge of Operations and Quality understanding, Project Management (preferably operations and IT/OT projects) Regulatory, GMP, Product Life Cycle Management.
- Able to develop, deploy and implement a global SC strategy in the entire Lonza organization including change management, continuous improvement and process re-design.
- Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing business environment within a complex matrix structure
- Experience with change management and Ability to lead a large group of different functions through change process and maintaining the operational performance
- At least 10 years in a managerial capacity within a large international organization.
- Managerial and operational experience obtained through leading teams/functions in production sites, markets/ affiliates and global functions.
- Strong talent development skills and active interest in the Talent agenda.
