**About the Role**

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Negotiate business requirements for change requests and future developments of the Manual Adjustment Tool (MAT) with user groups and ensure they are provided timely and with sufficient detail
- Work closely with product management to create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and backlog items for the squad using iterative techniques with feedback loops
- Create transparency of the backlog within the squad and with partners
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are understood and focused on by the team
- Ensure with scrum master that the team always has an adequate amount of prepared tasks to work on
- Support the squad in clarifying scope, by providing them with clear guidance on timelines and acceptance criteria
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of user stories as prioritized in the backlog
- Support the development of automated unit test cases and the end-to-end integration testing of FPSL
- Collaborate closely with other squads to develop cross-functional solutions or support problem resolution

**About the Team**

As part of the Olympus Programme you will have the opportunity to be a part of a Finance software implementation that has become the new industry standard for (Re)Insurance. As Product Owner within (Re) Insurance Accounting, you will work closely with the development squad and user representatives as well as the other product owners within the Re/Insurance Accounting Product Area. You will be leading a multidisciplinary team consisting of Accounting and Actuarial Business Experts, Business Analysts and Application Engineers. The team is responsible for the design, implementation, further development and testing of an efficient and effective Manual Adjustment entry point for Cash Flows and Manual Account Balance Adjustments. This includes the end-to-end ownership of the manual adjustment data flow and process in the new subledger environment.

**About you**

**Business and accounting understanding**
- Firm understanding of (re)insurance accounting business requirements
- Ability to document and communicate business requirements effectively to business owner(s), stakeholders and team members
- Good understanding of manual adjustment processes

**System knowledge and project experience**
- Prior experience with implementation of a sub-ledger preferred; experience with configuration of a standard accounting solution - preferably on an SAP platform (e.g. SAP Bank Analyzer, FPSL, Accounting for Insurance Contracts)
- Engaged participation in an agile project delivery setup (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, etc.) following a DevOps approach

**Testing**
- Has experience with testing new solutions
- Can formulate and document test cases to ensure specified business requirements are met
- Can effectively execute tests and reconciliations, and analyze root causes to understand why results are not as expected and follow-up on them accordingly

**Personal skills**
- Phenomenal teammate with a high degree of personal accountability
- Strong delivery focus as well as analytical capabilities
- Proficient in English
- Ability to work under pressure and to cope with peak time
- Problem solving demeanor: ability to break-down complex issues into relevant details and solvable actions
