To strengthen our Purchasing team, we are looking to recruit a:

**Head of Purchasing**:
‍

**Your activity**:

- Manage and lead the Purchasing Department, supporting and guiding staffin their day-to-day activities
- Participate in the creation and implementation of the Group's supply chain strategy, as a member of the Operations team
- Research and select suppliers according to defined criteria and develop the supplier structure for new technologies
- Work closely with the Technical Office and Applications to unlock approved solutions
- Operationally manage equipment purchases and ensure the supply of its portfolio, analyse the calculation of requirements, validate proposals and place orders
- Monitor and deal with changes to manufacturing programme deadlines, in collaboration with Operational Coordination
- Dealing with cases of non-conformity, in collaboration with suppliers,being responsible for Supplier Quality
- Set targets for optimising costs, quality, lead times and monitoring performance indicators
- Monitoring suppliers' performance and defining action plans with them,if necessary
- Controlling and optimizing costs through calls for tender
- Manage, support, monitor and develop a team of three persons ‍

**Your profile**:

- Federal diploma as a Purchasing & Supply Specialist, Federal diploma as a Buyer or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in team management
- Leadership, communication and negotiation skills and good resistance to stress
- Technical knowledge of machine tools or equivalent with strong commercial skills
- Fluency in French, German and English and other language skills an asset
- Good command of the usual IT tools (ERP, MS office)
- Proactive and dynamic, with good analytical and organisational skills
