**Job Profile: Service Desk Agent**

**Job Type & Location; 100% onsite | Basel, Switzerland | 12 - month contract**

**Position Summary**:
The Service Desk Agent is responsible for providing high-quality technical support and customer service to internal and external users. As the first point of contact for technical issues and inquiries, the Service Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the efficient resolution of ICT-related problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organizing and coordinating customer appointments.
- Advising on meeting requests, including recommendations on room capacities, technical equipment, and resources.
- Booking and reserving meeting rooms according to established guidelines.
- Escalating complex inquiries to higher support levels.
- Documenting customer inquiries and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding response times and problem resolution.
- Updating and maintaining the knowledge base with frequently asked questions and proven solutions for better self-service.
- Collaborating with customers, event planners, and producers to find appropriate solutions for meeting requirements.
- Contributing to the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

**Job Requirements**:

- Completed education or work experience in a commercial field, preferably in technical support or a service desk environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a way that is understandable to non-technical users.
- Excellent customer orientation and the ability to interact with users in a friendly and professional manner.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Interest in technical devices and systems.
- Team orientation and collaboration with other support levels.
- Fluency in both spoken and written German and English (B2); additional languages are an advantage.

**Job Type**: 100%

Pay: CHF50’000.00 - CHF70’000.00 per year
