As Operations and Supply Chain Director Aerospace in EMEA, your main responsibilities will be to strengthen our Safety and Quality culture, to define a manufacturing and distribution strategy focused on value creation, and to deliver world class products to our Aerospace customers in the EMEA region. You will have accountability and oversite of all plants and operations including: EHS, production, quality, cost, maintenance and engineering, supply chain, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in the EMEA region; support strategic growth programs, improve customer service, and deliver business efficiencies. **Responsibilities** - Reporting to the General manager Aerospace, EMEA you will manage 3 Manufacturing Sites in 3 different Countries (Shildon, UK; Gonfreville, France & Casaletto Vaprio, Italy) as well as the Operational part of our ASC EMEA network with 4 locations in 4 different countries (Shildon, UK; Toulouse, France; Dubai, UAE & Hamburg, Germany). - Deliver products to customers and distributors on time, in quality and at the right cost - Strengthen our Safety and Quality approach and bring us to a 0 incidents/defects culture - Build and implement an extended Supply Chain network in EMEA (improve our manufacturing and distribution footprint) - Develop an operations and supply chain culture that has a commitment to value-added services/processes - Provide a sustainable approach to our activities **Qualifications** - Chemical or Engineering University Degree or equivalent - English is a must even if not native. - Be available to move across the region (50% travel is a minimum) - Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations and supply chain management or relevant experience **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
