Position summary.

Due to the continuing growth, Nidecker Group is looking for a Supply & Demand planner to work hand in hand with our COO to ensure the highest forecast accuracy with the main goal to reduce risk of blind purchases. This person will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and improving all activities associated with forecasting and sales & operations planning.

You will build, maintain, plan and adjust SKU level forecasts for all brands and sales channel (B2B and B2C), make sure all forecasts are in line with financial
- and go to market objectives by partnering with other functions like sales, sales-ops, marketing, product development and finance.

Nidecker Group is located in Rolle - Switzerland - on the French-Swiss Riviera, close to the Lake Geneva and the Alps. The Group manages some of the best snowboarding brands in the world, such as Nidecker, Jones, Yes, Now & Flow and works with 60+ distributors in 40+ countries.

Tasks

**What we are looking for**:

- Someone to be the liaison between sales, customer service, logistics, demand planning, global production, sourcing hubs and merchandising to insure overall plan execution.
- Coordinate global deadlines and share buy information with US Planning group in order to achieve a global buy plan.
- Check items with excess inventory / supply shortages / supplies.
- Timely Introduction of products and materials - all in collaboration with Logistics Category
- Generate an efficient master production schedule and maintains highly accurate production forecast.
- Check buy arrival dates compared to sales order requested delivery dates to assure on time coverage, take necessary actions when needed.
- Collaborate with operations team and sourcing team on ‘vendor confirmation’ process to ensure that confirmed PO’s (quantities/dates) are aligned to planning requests.
- Coordinate global demand deadlines to achieve a global buy plan.
- Work closely with sales and supply team to control inventory generation and liquidation, highlighting any risk/opportunity with corrective actions.
- Analyse and assist in key account special requests or SMU’s and sales order phasing based on purchased made and/or planned.
- Analyse and share among sales team shortage and excess inventory positions to order to guarantee maximum efficiency.
- Verify Sales Orders have been booked according to correct delivery window and required corrections are done by Sales Coordinator where necessary.

**Requirements**:
**What you should bring to the table**:

- At least 3 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role, ideally within outdoor sports sector or FMCG;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields is a “nice to have”;
- Strong acumen in business process analysis, problem solving and organizational skills;
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Fluent in English is a must, French is a plus. Any additional language is an advantage.
