**First Level Support - data privacy, GDPR, information security, English**

**Role**:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Kaiseraugst we are looking for a First Level Support.
Global IT Privacy Operations team, among other information governance topics, is responsible for
functional teams (Legal, IT, HR, Commercial etc).

coordinate tasks between privacy offices and solution owners across various functions. We are looking for
understanding of business processes and various departments. This is an entry level position, please do

**Areas of responsibility**:

- Perform operational aspects of privacy such as monitoring and executing processes related to GDPR

compliance and privacy, coordination between all stakeholders, manage IT operations and keep track of
approval workflows.
- Support the data privacy network (Group Data Privacy Officer, Data Protection Officers, Data Privacy

Coordinators or Data Privacy Liaisons) with demands such as Data Subject Requests.
- Proactively partner with peers in the Legal IT team, develop strong inter-departmental working

relationships with other IT units and drive exchange with other functions in Roche
- Operate incident and problem management processes, release and configuration of our

systems according to ITIL and ensure that informatics quality standards are adhered to in system
maintenance
- Contribute to projects/sub-projects in the field

**Professional and technical requirements**:

- Min. Bachelor degree in IT Technology or Legal Studies or similar
- Min. 1+ years of experience in data privacy and information security as a First Level Support Specialist
- Foundational understanding of GDPR
- Knowledge about the pharmaceutical environment and processes of other departments (e.g.

Commercial, HR or Vendor management to be able to understand the requests and go to the correct
department to check the data
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- A highly organized and efficient self-starting attitude, being comfortable working in a fast-paced

environment with mínimal supervision
- Interest in learning technical skills, systems and requirements analysis.
- High focus on delivery, process efficiency and adequate sourcing
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills

**Nice to Haves**:

- German is an asset
- Previous Roche experience
- Experience with Gsuite especially Google Mail Application
