**Description**

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

**Join our team **We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Manager to join the Service Management Team. In this role you are responsible for strategy development and execution for a sizeable and fast-growing Service Business. You will be driving key initiatives to bring the business unit to the next level and act as a sparring partner for the General Manager. You have a proven track record in identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and a solid understanding of a Service business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical, execution and communication skills.

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead the strategy development process and ensure effective strategy deployment
- Identify and develop new service business growth areas through market & competitor research, installed base analysis, customer interactions and networking
- Implement own strategic initiatives to achieve company goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives, coach initiative leaders and monitor progress
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth

**Your background**
- Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, product management a/o a related role
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving business growth
- Strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- Proficiency in English. German language skills are an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
