As a Digital Experience Designer, you will need to ensure that our technology is providing customers with high-quality experiences that lead to high customer experience and engagement.

**What You’ll Do**

The Digital Experience Design (DXD) team is newly formed and will run as a start-up within the DSM Digital Function. The team will support, facilitate, or lead various global initiatives and projects that create a direct high impact for our Business and their customers.

As a Digital Experience Designer, you help identify new Digital Business opportunities, and co-design the Digital Business Model, by working closely together with Digital Architects, Developers and Business stakeholders in Agile teams from the initial ideation until the user testing and evaluation phase. You will be part of a global team of Experience Designers, spending most of your time in squads working on specific business goals. Besides that, you will also share your knowledge and experience by managing a community of like-minded Design Thinkers within DSM.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Responsible for the Visual Design (UI), User Experience (UX) and Customer Experience (CX) of the Digital Solutions we create
- Lead the process of ideation and rapid prototyping of concepts in face-to-face or online workshops
- Since you are fluent in both business & technology language, you easily adapt and translate user needs into user stories for the Agile Technical team to implement
- You ensure that Digital Solutions adhere to the DSM Brand guidelines
- Support developers to achieve maximum CX impact while implementing it, even when it means adapting the original concept.
- Your team will be spread across all regions and support customers around the globe. This means you will need to be able to create impact even when working remote, and that you will need to thrive in a culturally diverse global organization.

**Your experience**
- Proven track record in Designing Digital Solutions and Experiences
- Basic conceptual skills and knowledge of IT technology and software products
- Background and/or degree in Digital or Design related domain
- Experience with tools like Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas and Personas, Customer Journeys and Empathy maps
- Familiarity around various Agile methodologies like Scrum, LeanUX or Lean Start-up
- You are able to quickly create a sketch or mock-up to support your design process with tools like Adobe XD, Figma or Invision
- You definitely are a creative Design Thinker and pragmatic problem solver
- You have a designer’s eye for detail, any UI design or illustration skills are a big plus
- You stay on top of new Digital trends and opportunities
- You have strong communication skills in English, but would find an AI translation app to support you if ever needed
