Janssen Supply Chain is recruiting a director for large molecule Integrated Quality and Real Time Release (IQ RTR) program for Janssen Manufacturing Science and Technology located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, or other key Biologic Parenteral Manufacturing sites. This position will have full accountability for IQ RTR program across the large molecule platforms and new modalities, providing organizational, technical, and scientific leadership. The director large molecule IQ RTR will establish and shape the infrastructure to run proof of principal and proof of concept studies for the new and emerging technologies to drive the transition from sampling and off-line testing towards inline monitoring and real time release mounted by integrated quality. **Director MSAT, LM Integrated Quality and Real Time Release (IQ RTR) (f/m/d)** In this role, the Director IQ RTR - Provides leadership in identifying high priority technologies, leads or participates in due diligence and technical assessments, identifies key talents and partners to enhance the accelerated execution of PoP and PoC studies internally and externally in close collaboration with R&D. - Leads a team (IQ RTR Core Team) with deep scientific and technical expertise, analytical and manufacturing know-how for novel and emerging technologies, being a credible partner for R&D; both DPDS and clinical supply chain. - Works closely with MSAT departments, Value Chain Management, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Digital and Technology Implementation Leads, and the Manufacturing sites to pave the way for implementation of the PoC proven technologies using the New Product Introduction or Life Cycle Management vehicle and the existing teams’ infrastructure - Owns the process for the business case development, inclusion of the initiatives in the long-range financial planning (LRFP), business planning, and the prioritization of the initiatives and projects - Drives and supports the initiatives and projects related to network configuration, major cost improvement, implementation of new capacity and manufacturing capabilities enabled by IQ RTR - Supports the design and realization of an agile and flexible technology platform that ensures commercial manufacturing readiness for emerging, highly advanced, and novel technologies at internal sites and external partners - Shapes and supports the development of the work force of the future with focus on IQ RTR needed capabilities and expertise - People & Talent - Attracts, develops, advances, and retains top talent at all related levels in this highly advanced, novel, and competitive space. Builds a team with deep technical expertise and profound manufacturing and scientific know-how. - Resource Management & budget **Qualifications** - A Master’s degree in life science or related field with at least 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or a related industry OR a PhD degree in life science or related field with at least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or a related industry - Experience in analytical development functions with proven track record of analytical tool implementation and mastering complexity - Experience in manufacturing process development and an in depth understanding of process engineering and development requirements with end-to-end view are preferred - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt effectively to rapidly changing organization issues, structures, and dynamics - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as proven conflict management and negotiation skills - Experience in setting development and regulatory strategies for implementation of the PoC proven technologies is required - Track record in establishing high performing teams - Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects - Demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions in a timely fashion along with excellent follow through and organizational skills to assure team and organizational alignment to these decisions - Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without line authority Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
