Corporate Operational Buyer

Sonova is seeking a Category Buyer who supports the Procurement Category Manager in the area of Professional services. Provides guidance to internal stakeholders in regards to the engagement, contracting and processes of external employees such as consultants and contingent workers.

The role presents an excellent opportunity within a fast-paced growth company to make a mark in the near and far term, with a change agenda in flight that demands more great people in seat to help deliver to it. The person appointed will be required to work closely with the procurement manager in the area of professional services and IT as well as support in operational tasks.

**Your tasks**
- Provide support to internal stakeholders in regards to the contracting process of external employees, consultants and IT
- Ensure the proper processing of purchase orders via Ariba and/or SAP
- Engage with suppliers to track progress, KPIs, and orders
- Support internal and external stakeholders in the P2P process
- Responsible for the operational excellence in the assigned area with tasks such as release of invoices, reporting, updates and storage of contracts, contract signature process and other
- Support and manage independently the recruitment process of professional services
- Work collaboratively across the functions, acting with integrity, behaving like a business partner who delivers on commitments
- Pro-actively engage with stakeholders and procurement team to understand the strategic plan and drive best practices
- Support from time to time other procurement portfolios or projects.

**Your profile**
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (KV) or similar education
- 2-3 years’ work experience in procurement, preferably in a global and corporate environment
- Experience in owning the procurement lifecycle as well as handling different stakeholder and supplier
- Service-oriented, able to act as an advisor to the business and ability to communicate effectively in English language
- Excellent MS-Office and SAP skills
- Fluent in German and English
