**Group Real Estate Controller**:

Lead a big team finance professionals supporting Real estate controlling across the globe. Oversee the accurate preparation and integrity of the Real Estate general ledger and oversee preparation all required reports in compliance with US GAAP for assurance sign off.

**This position reports to**:
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies in accounting processes and drive simplification for consistency
- Oversee the risk management and risk review process for projects & project follow-up
- Act as the real estate controlling SME for all Real Estate Division spend and reporting
- Review and control monthly global financials (reported in Abacus Analyzer) for ZC Real Estate Division
- Coordinate and control annual plan and forecast processes for ZC Real Estate financials
- Quarterly Assurance process (early warnings, signoffs, etc.)
- Develop and implement allocation of capital employed and capital expenditure process from ZC Real Estate to the Divisions. This includes Division budgeting and forecasting for all Divisions
- Develop and implement process of capturing and reporting Non-ZCRE Capex spend for Divisions
- Review and control Occupancy Cost for the group and at Business Area/Division level
- Act as SME for all finance and accounting topics related to Real Estate, interaction with global Corporate Controlling and FP&A as well as local teams
- Leader and representative for real estate within the Finance Transformation and Lease Accounting programs
- Advise management and other stakeholders in different topics related to Real Estate: business model, evaluation of investments, leave vs buy decision, facility management, etc.
- Support preparation of and review capital investment proposals
- Oversee processes and tools for Data Management for Real Estate, including reporting process and data analytics
- Prepare performance analysis, reviews, and proposal of actions to management
- Act as SME for Real Estate Finance in the context of M&A transactions

**Your background**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CA is strongly preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in business controlling with at least 3 years in Real Estate Controlling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership quality
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience with MS Office
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
- Strong understanding of Large Company structures, reporting, and accounting practices in a large matrix organization
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to implement change and introduce best practice initiatives
