**THE JOB**:
We are currently searching for a **QA Operations Manager **to work across all functions to ensure that Quality standards are maintained within the company. You will support the QA team with the maintenance of a functional and inspection ready internal Quality Management System. You will also ensure GMP compliance of pharmaceutical production of API, Bulk Drug Product, and Finished Product at the external outsourced manufacturing facilities, and GDP compliance of product distribution.
**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO IN THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Quality Operations, you are the Covis Pharma QA key point of contact with our network of contract manufacturing organizations for all QA related activities. You will:
- Maintain the documentation system by co-writing and updating quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Propose Risk Evaluation tools and Mitigation Strategies.
- Oversee manufacturing quality related activities at assigned Vendors.
- Process assigned Vendor deviations, OOS/OOT investigations, and CAPAs, change controls, complaints etc.
- Review and approve manufacturing documentation, and transportation related records according to GMP/GDP.
**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED**:
- A bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical, science or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Previous Experience in pharma/biotech industry (can be in manufacturing, QA or QC) of which a minimum of 4 years has been spent in QA. We prefer someone with a minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience.
- Previous QA Operations experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Team player and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
- English is the company language.
