: On behalf of a client in the fine chemicals industry in the Basel area, PM Group are currently looking to hire a Technical Project Manager; supporting site development, transformation and product launch. : Operating as a client representative, within the role of Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for the following; Procurement, cost estimation, controls and cost calculations (+/- 10%), coordination of vendors and personnel on project (EI&C, automation and construction and internal departments - Operations, Procurement, Operations Engineering and HSE) Responsibility for Project Scheduling, implementation of dates and coordination of delivery. Will troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and obstacles. Responsible for the management and coordination of project meetings, progress meetings and reports. The Project Manager will support and advise on engineering activity. Will lead detail engineering (plant construction) including implementation of measures, process risk analysis, elaboration of R&I schemes, development of URS, site and project specifications and measuring points, fitting specifications, pipe construction specifications, Piping concept design and installation. Will have overall control and approval of final isometrics. Assessment development and definition of improvement measures. : - Project language German and English (spoken and written). - The profile requires preferably 5 years + of experience in a Project Management role. - Sound knowledge of project management according to "Good Engineering Practice" - Ability to deliver high quality results under deadline pressure - Very high reliability and a pronounced safety awareness - Ability to recognize essential facts in contradictory situations and that to advance the project anyway. Keeping an overview at all times. - Ability to collaborate across disciplines - Indirect management in the role of technical project manager
