For a project at our client’s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Investment Guideline Controller - Asset Management
In this exciting role, you will work in a team of experts in Investment Compliance by monitoring investment guidelines for the assigned business unit and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders (portfolio managers, legal, compliance).
**Your Qualifications**:
- **7+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit within the financial industry**:
- **5+ years of hands-on experience in Investment Guideline Monitoring and Investment Compliance**:
- **Solid understanding of financial instruments including derivatives**:
- **Deep understanding of the regulatory environment such as the Investment regulations for pension funds and for collective investment schemes (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Ireland)**:
- Experience in working in an international work environment with exposure to the investment management platform Aladdin is a plus
- Diligent work approach with respect for the risk and control obligations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- **Fluent in English and German**, Italian is a plus
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Daily monitoring of discretionary mandate contracts as well as national and international funds using the investment management platform (BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM)
- Analyzing and documenting violations of investment guidelines and interacting with Portfolio Managers to resolve them in a timely manner
- Creating monthly management reports summarizing the active and passive guideline violations
- Processing and documenting pre-trade requests from Portfolio Managers and approving trades before execution
