**Research Assistant / Lab Technician 50 %**

The Department of Biomedicine is a joint effort between the University of Basel and the University Hospitals Basel. It unites basic and clinical scientists to advance our understanding of health and disease and to develop pioneering therapies benefiting the lives of patients in areas of unmet need. **Your position**

You will actively contribute to ongoing research activities with the following practical work priorities: (i) cell culture (cell propagation, deposition and quality control), (ii) molecular imaging and Western blotting (to validate the integration and expression of cloning constructs) and (iii) when time permits, the development of new research tools (cloning, integration, clonal selection, etc.). The position also includes administrative duties related to the documentation of cell lines and the ordering of consumables. New ideas and constructive suggestions are highly welcome.
