**What you will do**:

- Partner with the Regional VP Digital, Region Presidents, Strategic Account Managers, Sales Leadership to develop and drive adoption of JCI digital solutions to drive growth
- Personally initiate and support executive suite relationships evangelizing the software, AI and intelligence levers to drive strategic outcomes such as sustainability and customer experience
- Identify top Lighthouse accounts in assigned region (EMEALA) and develop and manage the penetration strategy for digital with identified accounts
- Lead conversations and build relationships with high-level businesses and technical leaders across JCI Strategic accounts as well as within JCI
- Qualify opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, solution vision and
- alignment, competition, decision making process and funding; and help to achieve evaluation and project goals
- Partner across the field organization to anticipate and solve strategic customer and partner issues, using knowledge of our solutions and competitive solutions to help the sales and field engineering teams propose the most optimal solution for the customer
- Provide technical thought leadership and act as a strategic technical advisor to JCI executives on technical investment decisions, influencing the product roadmap. Assist by following industry trends and directions to help shape product priorities, and regularly evangelizing JCI Digital Solutions and roadmaps as a thought leader and a voice of the lighthouse customers back to the product teams
- Measure of success for this role will be tied to pipeline development (early on) and then ultimately to sales activity. Responsibility for sales goal will be a shared with Digital RVPs, strategic account managers, and others as appropriate

**What we are looking for**:

- Background in technical customer experience coming from the advanced technology business arena for buildings (Data-Enabled, Digital, IOT, buildings software, platform technology)
- 10 years of experience in building technology-related product management, product development, marketing, or sales; 5+ years of experience in working with customers on developing relevant solutions
- Ability to present to C-suite executives and create a compelling case for action
- Demonstrated passion to drive business growth through solving real problems for customers by providing innovative technology solutions through data and analytics
- Experience translating technical product abilities into value-added propositions for the customer within the fields of big data, IoT, open source and analytics
- good understanding of market development to identify areas where product gaps need to be closed through development or M&A
- Excellent communication skills as well as customer listening skills to drive collaboration and consensus building
- Analytical ability, problem solving skills and decision-making skills
- Experience in qualifying sales opportunities
- Ability to travel up to 50%
