As a member of the Continuous Improvement Team, you are dedicated to implement a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way. You lead and drive transformational and continuous improvement projects for our production areas and their supply chain, with a focus on process streamlining, automation and digitalization: from proper definition to sustainable implementation Do you like to work in a motivated team, challenge the status quo and drive change? **Your responsibilities**:
- Drive process excellence through continuous improvement by working and partnering with the business and shared services to identify improvement areas with a clear focus on standardization, digitalization and automation in procurement, manufacturing, logistics and Import/Export activities
- Lead and execute improvement projects with interdisciplinary teams that deal with operational efficiency, process improvement, technology, growth, and compliance that ultimately contribute towards our strategic business targets
- Lead the improvement projects through all phases of the project life cycle to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting of resources both internal and external, project controls, risk analysis, reporting, and executing all activities required for each project
- Interface and collaborate directly with managers, employees, partners, internal customers, and others to clearly define project requirements and manage expectations
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree e.g. in (Process) Engineering, Business Administration or similar, ideally combined with knowledge in process engineering, supply chain management and/or logistics
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Project Management, logistics, supply chain management and/or Continuous Improvement
- Experience in automation and digitalization of supply and value chains within a production environment would be a plus
- Proficiency in the use of SAP (Business Warehouse) and Power BI is an advantage
- Proven track record in process optimization, process design, continuous improvement
- Wide knowledge of change management and lean management/6Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, VSM, 5S, A3 etc)
- High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality and coaching skills
- Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge the “status quo”
- Strong communication skills in German and English (both written and spoken) essential
