Manager Licensing Controlling and Divisional Support

- The Manager Licensing Controlling and Divisional Support focuses on top line management and reporting. The role will liaise with the Licensing BU key stakeholders (BU Head, Head of customer support, SARs central team), to support revenue phasing modelling, true ups, develop a solid understanding of value drivers of the BU, supporting potential upside and downsides’ identification.Key responsibilities:

- Support the growth of the BU, preparing monthly closing, annual target and strategic review from the financials’ perspective. The role requirements will be refined based on the needs of the BU Head Licensing.
- As the finance lead, this person will also be responsible link efficiently with our Corporate Accounting colleagues to ensure accounting considerations are appropriately discussed, reviewed and documented for audit purposes.
- This person will also play an integral part in developing our analytical capabilities, especially across the area of Commercial decision support, and develop ad’hoc analysis to better understand underlying commercial performance and evolution (for example, average batch pricing, etc.)
- ** Business Partner** - analysis and decision support in the area of pricing, financial analysis for negotiations, modeling, project evaluations, costing, performance measures
- ** Financial planning / reporting** - Responsible for development and submission of Financial & Business Plans, including all required actual and plan reporting, analyses and metrics such as long term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks and forecasts, monthly closing reporting, variance and analysis reporting.
- ** Compliance**:

- Drives BU financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the Lonza Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), the Lonza Management Accounting Manual (MAM) and other required accounting principles, supported by his Manager, and in discussions with our Corporate Accounting colleagues

Key requirements:

- M.A. or B.Sc. + MBA within Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
- Several years of experience within analysis, financial modelling & reporting
- Strong analytical, numerical skills and structured thinking
- Exposure to senior internal stakeholders
